(Press Release) Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Tournament Announcement!

Jordan's Gaming Gallery is proud to announce its first tournament: A tournament for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate! Gather your friends and train up your skills to compete against other top-level players for a chance at glory! The grand prize is a 100-dollar gift card for anything in the store area. This tournament is free for anyone to enter and free for anyone to spectate. To enter, just go into the store anytime from when this blog goes up to the day of the tournament. The tournament will be held on March 6th at 5:00 in the arcade area of the store.

Rules: Each match will be a 1 vs. 1 match with no items only on an omega version of the stage. The stock is 3 and the time is 8 minutes. Rules when at the tournament: Be respectful and show good sportsmanship. Please refrain from heckling other players or insulting/harassing other players. This is a fun tournament and will be treated as such. Refreshments: Food will be provided at this tournament. There will be a snack bar complete with pizza, nachos, punch, and soda. They are first come first serve so get them while you can!

There will be two classes: Casual and Competitive. If a player is a more casual player, they will play in a class with more casual players, with items turned on and a choice of any type of stage, along with the matches being 4 players. The prize for winning in casual will be the same prize as the one in the competitive class.

The roster of characters in Super Smash Ultimate. Players are free to choose from any of these characters.

Another point of note is that despite there being a Smash tournament, that does not mean the rest of the arcade is closed. The other games will be open if you do not care about the tournament.

For the people spectating, there will be activities for you to do too, such as a trivia contest based on the games represented in Smash brothers and prizes for if the person you choose to root for wins the tournament.

"I want this tournament to be a fun experience for everyone. I know not everyone plays games the same way, and that some are more competitive than others. I wanted an experience that is fun for all games," says Jordan Strong, owner of Jordan's Gaming Gallery.

If you wanna test your skills, or if you wanna show off how good you are, or if you wanna just have a fun time with friends, then come on down to the tournament to have a smashing good time!
